I spent Tuesday-Thursday in the big city (Birmingham, AL) absolutely workshopping our Wildsparq sales process.

If you’re a remote worker, you know (if you have a good team) how refreshing it is to get back with your people.

Feeling reenergized going into the back end of this year. But also feeling tired. Planes will do that.

• Wife has started playing fantasy football

• Tossing the pigskin, on the beach, 75 degrees

Buccaneers / Falcons TNF extravaganza

I’m a bucs fan since age like 5

And I’m never lived in Florida much less Tampa, so I RARELY get to see them play on live TV - they just don’t put the bucs on.

Outside of the once a year TNF, MNF, or SNF game + playoffs, you just don’t get to watch them much.

So of course cross division rivals TB and ATL get to face off in prime time, and I’ve gotta be on a plane the WHOLE TIME.

I don’t know what I would’ve done had I seen the 45 yd TD catch in OT. Prolly better I didn’t see it.

But man I like Baker, I like our weapons.

Mike Evans is a DAWG, Godwin is a DAWG, Rachaad White needs to learn how to run the ball (nice 50+ yd guy though) - still… DAWG, Bucky Irving is a DAWG, Cade Otton is a DAWG.

Our defense is missing some key pieces, but otherwise, we’ve got the talent to be a solid team.

KIRKO THREW FOR A 500 BURGER? Insanity.

The redeeming thing is I have Drake London in a fantasy league. The unforunatre thing is that I played against Kirk and Drake in a different league. Bad bad bad we’re in trouble now.

Pros: she loves it, and is actually engaged in NFL Sunday.

She’s a legit team manager, analyzing waivers, requesting trades.

Cons: I get blamed for every one of her players that doesn’t play well.

She drafted Christian McCaffery, Joe Mixon, Cooper Cupp.

AND Travis Kelce to add fuel to the fire. She’s not happy I suggested all these guys.

She’s still sitting at 2-2, primed for recovery in the back end of the season.

I’m dead last in our league. I look at my team, and I think wow we should be electric.

WE ARE NOT. I think my time will come. But I’m like second to last in scoring and my morale is LOW.

pigskin, beach, sunny and 75

Wife and I went to the beach last Saturday with two other couples.

Sun poked out real nice, and the guys got to toss around a solid mini football for like an hour.

You know those mini footballs that kinda stink - can’t really throw em, can’t find the spiral, can’t get a ton of air under it?

NOT this ball. You could sling it. Tons of fun.

Then we planned our Friday afternoon (today) golf tee time.

This was all AFTER I ate an incredible Chorizo breakfast burrito.

Consider last Saturday a win (even though the hogs lost).

I like this course, but it is relatively challenging.

My goal recently has become +18

If I can just get a few pars to make room for a few doubles, limit +3 at all costs, I can get here.

I’m typically one or two over bogey golf (sometimes like 8 over that).

Regardless. Aiming for bogey golf today.

I finish some of these newsletters thinking to myself “huh, not sure if this is helpful to anyone” which is FINE.

Maybe someday you’ll look to this newsletter for some source of truth.
